Walberswick Toddlers' Group

The Walberswick Toddler Group is held every Thursday in the main Village Hall.

Refreshments are provided for both parents and toddlers as well as plenty of toys.

Everybody is welcome, including older children if they are accompanied by a toddler and parent, we just ask for a donation of £1 per child.

Balkan Dancing

If you like something out of the ordinary and enjoy experiencing something new every so often, why not give this dancing a go? The session comprises traditional ethnic dances from countries in the Balkans: Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Macedonia, Rumania, Turkey among others. Sometimes we go further afield and try Armenian or Russian dances. £5.00 for the session; tea, coffee and eats provided, plus a very warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Every Monday

These half-day drawing classes focus on developing observational skills and confidence to see and draw better. Individual need is paramount.

They are tailor-made and motivational and include regular, brief Powerpoint presentations of related artworks.

Beginners and improvers are particularly welcomed, including those developing a portfolio. Different art materials and techniques are explored. Works by many other artists will be discussed alongside these activities.

Mobile library

The mobile library calls every four weeks. It stops in the Village Hall Car Park. The satelite connection allows them to offer all the facilities of a branch library for both adults and children. Books, spoken word, CDs and DVDs can be ordered on the mobile or over an internet connection to be collected from the mobile library or any branch. Books can be returned to any branch library, or branch library books can be dropped off at the mobile library.
