BUSES:

Walberswick residents and their guests only (no charge):
Norwich bus - every third Thursday in the month. Picks up at 9.15am from the Church bus stop, the Tuck Shop and the Village Hall bus stop. Leaves Norwich at 1.45pm. To book please see Village News

Halesworth bus - every 2nd, 3rd and 4th Wednesday of the month. Leaves 10am picking up from Anchor, Tuck Shop and Church. Leaves Halesworth 11.45am

Lowestoft bus - every first Wednesday in the month. Leaves 10am picking up from usual places. Returns to Walberswick by 1pm.

CATS moving the community: Phone 0845 604 1802. Connects to rail stations at Saxmundham and Darsham. Service operates throughout area north of Leiston to Saxmundham, Kelsale, Blythburgh & Walberswick including villages around Theberton, Middleton, kWestleton, Eastbridge, etc.

Car Parks

Ferry Road and Cliff Field car parks will accommodate 600 cars. They are both Pay and Display and operate between 1st May and 30th September.

Ferry times.

1st April - 23rd April = 10am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 5pm (Weekends = 10am to 5pm).
29th April - 27th May Weekends only = 10am - 5pm.
27th May - 30th September 10am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 5pm (weekends 10am - 5pm)
30th September to 28th  October Weekends only = 10am to 5pm.
28th October - 4th November = 10am - 12.30pm and 2pm - 5pm (weekends 10am - 5pm)
The ferry does not operate during the winter months. £1 per person and bycles. Children under 5 and dogs free.

Library Suffolk Libraries website The Mobile Library visits every four weeks 2.20pm to 2.50pm in the Village Hall car park.. See Mobile Library in the Diary for the next date.

Post Office Counter: The Post Office counter is open Tuesday afternoons (1pm to 3pm) and Thursday mornings (10am to 12noon) in the Village Hall Annex.

Refuse collections are early Monday mornings. Recycling and household are alternate weeks.
