WCLC November newsletter

Walberswick Common Lands Charity.

The drop in morning in October was very well supported and the Trustees were pleased to meet many familiar and new faces. The questions and issues raised are being addressed.  Volunteer Warden Barbara Priestman was pleased with the interest shown in the work on The Common (volunteers are still needed on Wednesday afternoons at 2pm).  Work on “Wally’s Bridge” should start in February 2013.  Encroaching brambles in front of some beach huts have been cut back.  The beach huts are ever popular and there is a sizeable waiting list of village residents.  If you have a hut that is not fully used and would be prepared to share it please let the Clerk know.
