The following is an open letter from Carla, Daren and family:
As most of you are aware, on the 2nd December 2104, I received the worst phone call anyone would dream of receiving, that my son Cory had been in a near fatal car accident and was in a critical state.
After racing to Ipswich Hospital where I had to formally identify Cory, we were then informed that he would be moving to the Neuro Critical Care Unit of Addenbrookes Hospital.
At Addenbrookes Hospital Cory has received the most AMAZING care and after 32 days, on the 4th of January, Cory has woken up, talked to me, drank and eaten and will now be on a very slow recovery via the Norfolk and Norwich Hospital then on to the Colman Rehabilitation Hospital.
Your cards, letters and messages had seen Daren and myself through some very dark times and your gifts have enabled us to stay with Cory every single day, and without those gifts that wouldn’t have been possible.
You will all never know how grateful and blessed and loved we all feel. But your kindness wouldn’t have reached me without the love of one person, our lovely Rosi, my friend.
So we would like to say firstly a massive thank you to our lovely Rosi and secondly to all of you, the wonderful people of Walberswick.
Thanks you
Carla, Darren and family.
