Village Hall
Walberswick Village Hall was built in the late 1960s and has been a meeting place for celebrations from the cradle to the grave ever since. Interest groups as diverse as the Local History Group, yoga, pilates, art classes, bridge, drama productions, Wilodfowlersand WI meet on a regular basis. Most of these groups welcome members from outside the village. The Parish Council and the organising committees of various groups make full use of the annexe for their meetings. The Post Office provide an Outreach Service in the annexe twice weekly on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Major improvement and renovation works over the past three years have included refurbishing the toilets, replacing the outer doors, interior redecoration and installation of acoustic panels in the main hall, and upgrades to the audio systems. Most recently we have invested in a portable stage extension to provide a more spacious performance area for plays and other entertainments in the hall.
