In 2019 the Charity took over management of this Village landmark and is currently arranging its repair and refurbishment.
Originally a Congregational Chapel and erected in the 19th century, the building has had many uses over its long life.
Current plans include a temperature and humidity-controlled environment to house the Walberswick Scroll, the Walberswick Local History Group archives, and other important village papers. It will be suitable for meetings and as an exhibition space for local artists and crafts people. The Heritage Hut will be headquarters to the Parish Council, the Common Lands Charity, the Local History Group and the Scroll Committee.
