Suffolk Highways are proposing to replace the 30mph speed limit in the village of Walberswick with a 20mph speed limit. The new 20mph speed limit will start approximately 50m west of the B1387 junction with Adams Lane. The existing 30mph entering the village will remain in the same location a distance of 120m west of where the proposed 20mph speed limit will start, please click here to refer to the plan.
It is envisaged that the implementation of a new speed limit will produce a safer environment for villagers, tourists, motorists, cyclists, pedestrians and equestrians.
