Tenders for restoration of the East Point (crabbing) Bridge have been received, and a proposal for transfer of the bridge to the Charity put to the Envioronment Agency. We are currently awaiting their response. Once the costs are known it may be necessary to seek donations from the public and local businesses to jointly fund the project with the Charity.
The post and wire fence alongside the Went Track is due to be replaced in July.
Parking control cones have been purchased for use by organisers of local events and are stored at the church; please contact Chrissie Reeves (723351) if you wish to borrow them.
The WPC has asked the Charity to support the planting of a walnut tree to commemorate the Diamond Jubilee on Palmers Green; this is being evaluated.
The Charity was delighted to contribute to the Jubilee celebrations; if you would like to add some drama to your party or event the beacon is available for hire!
