At the Meeting on 1 December 2012, Walberswick PCC discussed the initial stages of an application to the DAC for permission to install a (pretty small) kitchen within our Vestry. This will enable us, we hope, to be more hospitable and welcoming at many events but in particular to visitors to our services.
It was disappointing to find that our spare silver, previously in the care of Barclays Bank, was not found to be particularly good – and, indeed, not particularly silver. We ended with the details of the Open Gardens weekend planned in the village on 22-23 June. We have decided to sell tickets, open the Tower for ascent by hardy souls, and have what we have decided to call a, “well decorated church”. If it’s anything like the last such event, it will be really good fun.
