tittertorter
When Walberswick, East Suffolk, discussed its Festival of Britain plans in the village hall at the weekend, one suggestion was for a tittertorter.
"Some call it that, though when I was a child we called it a butterways" said Mr Charles Adams, 70 year-old chairman of the parish council. "No doubt most people would call it a seesaw".
Turning down the tittertorter, the village voted for two swings, a sandheap and games equipment.
