The new Sole Bay Community Bus, known as Mr Bus and operated by the Voluntary Help Centre, Sole Bay Care Fund and Halesworth Area Community Transport, will be visiting Walberswick on Mondays and Thursdays throughout the summer (1 May - 30 September). You can pick it up at The Harbour Car Park at 9.15am. It returns to the village arriving at around 1.05pm. Please check with the bus driver as to where you can pick the bus up in Southwold for the return journey.

The bus can be hailed anywhere on route and there are numerous stops on the way to, and in and around Southwold, all listed in the timetables available from the Tuck Shop. You can also ask the driver to stop the bus just about anywhere along the route.

The cost is £2 each way for adults, free if you have a bus pass, 50p for children up to 16 years, and free for children under five years. Face coverings must be worn.
